About this print:
"Lola" means "Grandmother" in Tagalog... I worked on the original drawing for this print in the kitchen while my husband, Brian, was cooking for me. As I drew, I realized that the Lola increasingly resembled my own grandmother (who we called "Nanay" instead, meaning "Mother" in Tagalog) and reminded me of happy memories of her cooking delicious meals for my sister and me.
